Returning back to the use of Herbal Plants

The use of plants for healing can be traced back as early as the humankind itself.  Written1[1] records about it are dated from 5,000 years ago in Sumerians civilization while the archeological findings have shown that the practice of using plants or herbal medicine goes far back of 60,000 years ago in Iraq and, 8,000 years ago in China. Only with the advent of conventional method of treatment that the usage of plants has been challenged by modern practitioners of mainstream medicine.  Because of what they say that herbals are lack of scientific evidence by their own standard, despite its long history of potency to cure illness.
From the ancient time up to now, there is no question that plants and herbs can heal multiple varieties of sickness.  In fact more and more people are returning back to the original form of medicine which is from the common plants that can be found in our backyards.  Many would not deny the side effect of using chemical drugs and the price tag that comes with it.
We can also notice the difference in approach why using plans is more appealing than the synthetic ones as this article explained [2]
“Synthetic drugs address symptoms caused by specific diseases as understood by scientific pathology, however, a herbal medicine usually direct towards aiding the body’s own healing process. Herbal medicines usually act gently, “support” the systems and processes that have become deficient or attempt to help remove excesses that have become preponderant. Symptom relief is only a section of medicinal plants therapeutic strategies. For example, arthritic is usually treated with steroid anti-inflammatory drugs which have widespread disturbing adverse effects. The approach of herbs to these conditions causes moistening of dry synovia, stimulation of circulation in the affected regions, facilitation of elimination via kidneys and hepatic/biliary routes, dietary modification of metabolism, etc”
Furthermore healing herbs are affordable or can be planted if you have some spare in your backyard especially during this time of crisis.  It may be just in the corner of your surrounding if you live in a country side.  You just have to identify them by asking someone who knows them well or from the medicinal books like this:
